DC cooling fan, also known as DC air cooling fan, is a kind of cooling equipment which is powered by DC power supply, adjusts the rotating speed according to the heat condition, generates less noise and consumes less energy. It is mainly used for heat dissipation of computers, computer peripherals, home appliances, computer rooms and other equipment, and can also be used for heat dissipation of industrial equipment.
The working principle of DC cooling fan is to convert the DC voltage and electromagnetic induction into mechanical energy, so as to make the fan blade rotate. It is mainly composed of four parts: rotor, stator, motor and outer frame, and the core components are stator and rotor. Through the corresponding control circuit, the fan can be made to run continuously and control its running direction.
Types of DC cooling fans include mixed-flow, axial-flow and centrifugal, and the components include fan frame, fan blades, bearings, PCB control circuits and drive motors. Fan frame and fan blade plastic materials and colour options include PBT raw material black, PC raw material transparent and PBT raw material white. Speed and electromechanical winding turns, wire diameter, fan impeller outer diameter and bottom diameter, blade shape and the use of bearings and other factors related to the increase in speed, the air volume increased accordingly.
The advantages of DC cooling fans are less electromagnetic interference, less power consumption, quieter, use of lower voltage and less vibration, but the disadvantage is that the airflow is unstable and uneven. DC cooling fans work on the principle of Ampere's right-hand rule, which causes the fan blades to rotate through the repulsive force generated by the magnetic poles and rubber magnets.
DC cooling fans are used in a wide range of applications, including power supply cooling fans, chassis cooling fans, CPU cooling fans, VGA cooling fans, and so on. The main advantages of DC fans or DC fans are less electromagnetic interference, less power consumption, quieter, use of lower voltage and less vibration, but the disadvantages are unstable and uneven airflow.
